El vídeo se centra en la protesta por la construcción de un oleoducto entre Dakota del Norte y el sur de Illinois en Estados Unidos, que pasa por las tierras de la reserva de Standing Rock de la tribu sioux, situada entre la frontera de las dos Dakotas. Según la tribu sioux el oleoducto tendría un impacto negativo sobre las aguas del río Missouri, su principal fuente de agua.
