Cut stitch scar es la segunda pista y el segundo avance del álbum Little death wishes de CocoRosie (2025).
Cuando termina un capítulo de la vida y otro intenta comenzar, uno entra en la noche oscura del alma. Aquí es exactamente donde encontramos a las hermanas Casady en su canción más existencialista y en busca de significado hasta el momento. Escrita mientras Bianca estaba presa de la angustia, Cut stitch scar refleja los comienzos en falso del dolor mientras la canción oscila entre la escasez y la densidad. "Da un acto de fe", canta Bianca, "puede que no haya un plan para ti". Sobre el sencillo, las Casady nos dicen: "'Cut stitch scar' toca el núcleo mismo de nuestra rebeldía universal y la naturaleza precaria y preciosa del ser humano".
Estreno 14 de enero de 2025. Al día siguiente llega el video oficial dirigido por CocoRosie.
