Little bit closer es la séptima pista del álbum People watching de Sam Fender (2025). La canción cuenta con un video oficial estrenado el 8 de mayo de 2025. Con el director de 'Adolescence', Philip Barantini, y el protagonista de la serie de Netflix, Owen Cooper.
Rodado en el Lake District al noroeste de Inglaterra, el video sigue a Cooper y a un grupo de amigos yendo de acampada a los Lagos, donde el personaje que encarna Cooper contempla calladamente cuestiones de fe. El clip es un corto que aborda los temas expresados en la letra de la canción.
Sam Fender: "Es genial volver a trabajar con Phil [Barantini], no tenía ninguna duda de que era el director adecuado para esta pieza, su vídeo de Spit of You era mi favorito. Phil me llamó para decirme que le había preguntado a Owen si le gustaría participar en el vídeo y Owen accedió encantado. Me alegré mucho de que pudiera hacerlo después de ver su increíble interpretación en Adolescence. Junto con Semera Khan [Director Creativo] y el resto del reparto y del equipo, han creado algo precioso".
Philip Barantini comenta sobre trabajar tanto con Sam como con Owen en 'Little bit closer': "Tener la oportunidad de dirigir otro vídeo para Sam fue un sí de inmediato ¡Para mí no había ninguna duda! No sólo es un artista increíble, Sam es una persona maravillosa y un gran amigo. Además, la oportunidad de volver a dirigir a Owen tan poco tiempo después de Adolescence fue una alegría absoluta".
