Doesn't matter es la sexta pista y primer anticipo del disco Lychee de BENEE (2022), que comentó: "siento como si hiciese un siglo desde mi último lanzamiento. Ha sido un año muy difícil para mí y para muchos otros y a veces me he sentido con el ánimo realmente bajo. Compuse ‘Doesn’t Matter’ durante uno de estos periodos en los que me encontraba desbordada, ansiosa y bloqueada. Me diagnosticaron TOC, lo que me sirvió para entenderme mejor. Esta canción reflexiona sobre lo que sería sentirse de verdad despreocupada y lo sencilla que resultaría la vida así. En ocasiones, para quienes no sufren de ansiedad o depresión es difícil entendernos. La gente te dice que no te preocupes o que no importa, no comprenden que no es tan fácil para nosotros. Haber recibido ayuda para aprender cómo lidiar con mi ansiedad y mi depresión me hace querer compartirlo con los demás, porque existe una salida".
