Riptudes es el noveno corte y el primer adelanto del álbum I built you a tower de Death Cab for Cutie (2026). La canción cuenta con un videoclip dirigido por Jason Lester, estrenado el 16 de marzo de 2026.
En un comunicado de prensa, Ben Gibbard afirmó: "'Riptides' trata sobre el desafío de lidiar con las luchas personales mientras el mundo a nuestro alrededor experimenta tragedias y pérdidas a una escala inimaginable. Y cómo, cuando estos dos elementos se entrelazan en nuestra psique, la sensación es completamente paralizante".
