Hablando sobre la inspiración para la canción, Doherty comentó: "Donde vivo hay un tipo en la ciudad que tiene una tienda que se especializa en calvados y sidras; el zumo de manzana se convierte en sidra y se convierte en calvados. Me llevó a recorrer todos los antiguos fabricantes de calvados, en su camioneta, de un lugar a otro, quedándose con ellos. Es esa historia".
