Paul Weller at the BBC

Paul Weller lanzará una caja con 4 CDs de rarezas y temas en directo de su carrera en solitario el próximo 3 de noviembre.

Las 74 canciones de Weller at the BBC fueron grabadas por el ex-Jam durante unas sesiones exclusivas y shows en directo para la BBC entre 1990 y 2008.

Se incluyen versiones del "What's going on" de Marvin Gaye, y "Wishing on a star" de Rose Royce.

Noel Gallagher aparece en una versión en directo de la adaptación de Weller de "I walk on gilded splinters" de Dr John, que grabara en directo en 1995.

También destaca un versión inédita de "The poacher" de Ronnie Lane, grabada para la BBC Radio 1 en 1997, y grabaciones de su participación en el Phoenix Festival en 1995.

Músicos incluyen al mencionado Gallagher, Bobby Gillespie de Primal Scream y Tim Burgess de The Charlatans, que han sido entrevistados para un libreto de 64 páginas que acompaña el lanzamiento.
