"He estado esperando ansiosamente durante los últimos cuatro años lanzar esta canción", dice Calum. "Después de experimentar con canciones más rápidas en el álbum, quería algo que hablara al alma. 'Die for you' es una devoción clásica del amor, un tipo de narración poética y visual que, desde mis primeros sueños de ser artista, fue lo que siempre me vi realizando. Esto se siente tan especial para mí como 'You are the reason' y 'Dancing on my own'. Estoy muy emocionado de que el mundo escuche esto".
