Sounds of the Universe

El álbum nº12 de estudio de Depeche Mode lleva el título de Sounds of the Universe. Anunciado como un disco ecléctico y con mucha energía.

Incluye canciones compuestas por Martin Gore y Dave Gahan, al igual que en "Playing the angel" (2005).

Han trabajado en Santa Barbara y Nueva York.

Producido por Ben Hillier incluye 13 canciones.

Wrong es el primer single. Cuenta con un videoclip dirigido por Patrick Daughters (Feist, Interpol).

La edición especial en box-set con 3 CDs + 1 DVD. El primer CD el correspondiente al formato estándar, el segundo con temas extra y remezclas y el tercero con maquetas inéditas y en su mayoría pertenecientes a las sesiones de grabación de "Violator" (1990), "Songs Of Faith And Devotion" (1993) y "Sounds Of The Universe" (2009). EL DVD incluirá tres películas grabadas durante la preparación de Sounds of the Universe y el videoclip del primer single, "Wrong". El diseño de la caja es del habitual Anton Corbijn.
