Oh mother con The TwoCity Chorus es el segundo avance del álbum Hazel eyes de Sam Smith (2026). Canaliza un anhelo de consuelo materno tras una profunda decepción. Esta pieza se construye sobre un diálogo entre Sam y el coro de 28 componentes.
"El coro pretende representar la furia de una madre que es testigo de la traición de su hijo; invocando una especie de energía femenina divina", explica Sam. "También contamos con la voz de mi amigo Dante, que fue para mí una figura maternal cuando era una persona queer de veintitantos años. Es como una reunión de voces que ofrecen apoyo y fuerza".
