Help us stranger es el tercer álbum de The Raconteurs, el primero en 11 años tras Consolers of the lonely (2008).
El combo formado por Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, y Patrick Keeler, grabó y se encargó de la producción en el estudio del primero (Third Man). Composiciones todas de White y Benson, a excepción de la versión de Hey gyp (Dig the slowness) de Donovan.
Participaron en la grabación el teclista y multi-instrumentista Dean Fertita (The Dead Weather, Queens of the Stone Age) y la hermanas Lillie Mae y Scarlett Rische.
