Better days es uno de los adelantos del álbum Human de OneRepublic (2020). Una canción compuesta y producida por Ryan Tedder, Brent Kutzle y John Nathaniel y co-producida por Tyler Spry.
Sobre la canción Ryan comenta: "Estábamos en la última semana antes de la entrega de nuestro quinto álbum de estudio cuando la OMS declaró la pandemia. Algunos de nosotros, sin saberlo, estuvimos en contacto en Londres con alguien contagiado y nos vimos obligados a permanecer en cuarentena en mi estudio de L.A. durante dos semanas. Solo nos quedaban dos temas para terminar, uno de ellos acabó siendo 'Better days'. Hemos compuesto sobre experiencias personales y eventos que nos han ocurrido, eso es lo que sucede cuando escribes una canción durante una crisis".
Estreno 25 de marzo de 2020. El vídeo oficial el 13 de abril de 2020. El 22 de mayo de 2020 se lanza una nueva versión con Khea.
