"Supongo que estaba en una especie de estado zombie, solo tocando", dijo Santiago. "Después de que dejé de tocar, lo dejé y dije: 'Bueno, eso fue una maldita pérdida de tiempo, qué pedazo de mierda soy'. Me golpeé mucho, pero mi novia, sin que yo lo supiera, estaba grabándome. Ella me lo reprodujo y yo digo: '¡Joder! ¡Espera un segundo aquí! ¡Esto es bueno!'".
Black Francis sobre el contenido de la canción: "Vivir en Los Ángeles en los años 90 -con mi entonces esposa-, salir con Joey -y su ex esposa- hacíamos muchos viajes a Las Vegas, mucho alcohol, algo de drogas, buenos y genuinos tiempos".
