Am I wasting my time? es la canción de apertura y primer single del álbum debut de Ele: Summer rain (2014).
Elena Iturrieta (Voz, piano, composición y arreglos de voz) comenta: "En la vida a veces nos ponemos barreras que impiden que disfrutemos de las cosas que podemos hacer. Tenemos que contagiarnos de quienes persiguen sus sueños y no dejan que esos obstáculos les frenen. Summer Rain es el fruto de haberme podido desprender de inseguridades y conseguir no perder el tiempo ni la oportunidad que se me presentó y está canción habla de eso. Por esa razón este tema es el primero del disco y el single".
Con un videoclip dirigido por Guillermo Benet (Vermut Films) estrenado el 2 de noviembre de 2014. Con el productor Pablo Cebrián tocando el slide guitar, y un coro gospel.
