Cardi B parte como gran favorita a los Billboard Music Awards 2019, con 21 candidaturas en 18 categorías distintas. El récord de nominaciones lo siguen manteniendo Drake y The Chainsmokers, que obtuvieron 22 en el año 2017. En esta ocasión Drake cuenta con 17 opciones a premio, igual que Post Malone. Les siguen Travis Scott con 12, y XXXTentacion con 10.

La entrega se celebrará en el MGM Garden Arena de Las Vegas el próximo 1 de mayo.
