Through the open window. The bootleg series Vol. 18: 1956-1963 de Bob Dylan sale a través de Columbia Records y Legacy Recordings (Sony Music Entertainment).

Cuenta la historia del surgimiento y la maduración de Dylan como compositor e intérprete, desde Minnesota hasta la bohemia de Greenwich Village a principios de la década de 1960. En medio de un resurgimiento global del aprecio por Dylan, la colección incluye tomas descartadas poco comunes de Columbia Records, grabaciones realizadas en clubes, en pequeñas reuniones informales, en apartamentos de amigos y en sesiones de improvisación en lugares de reunión de músicos que ya no existen. Muchas de las grabaciones son extremadamente raras; otras nunca se han presentado en ningún formato.
